If you’re one to help out the folks in Xion, then the Missing Wife Bulletin Board request in Stellar Blade is right up your alley.
Missing Wife is one of many Bulletin Board requests in Stellar Blade. EVE can accept these and help out the citizens of Xion. For the Missing Wife request, it is fairly simple. Someone wants you to find their missing wife for them in the Wasteland.
Well, spoiler alert. It isn't a happy ending, but we've got you covered on how to complete it.
How to complete the Missing Wife request in Stellar Blade
With every Bulletin Board request in Stellar Blade, you have to go to the Bulletin Board to accept it. This is near the R Shop, run by Roxanne, and is marked on your map. So, get to the request list to see Missing Wife with this message:
"My wife Donna is missing. Someone saw her heading out to the Wasteland, but that only makes me nervous.
My wife always hated leaving Xion.
Why would she think to leave now? It just...feels so ominous.
Please help me find my wife. She can't have gone very far."
That last sentence is absolutely correct. She didn't get very far out into the Wasteland. Now that you have accepted it, follow these steps to find the poor person's spouse:
- Open your missions and select to track Missing Wife in Stellar Blade
- Leave Xion and follow the Path to the Wasteland
- Run forward a bit and take a quick right turn
- Follow the walkway to two bodies, one leaning on the rock formation, and the other facedown
- Interact with both bodies to retrieve messages of why they ended up dead
- Return to the Bulletin Board to complete the quest
We'll never know the truth behind Stellar Blade's Missing Wife request, but EVE's report does state that if the requester is Chris, the deaths are on his hands.
That is because the messages found when you inspect their bodies seem to indicate an affair, with Chris allegedly obsessed with Amanda.
Donna, assumed to be Chris' wife, finds out, blames Amanda, takes her to the Wasteland, and kills them both. We told you it wasn't going to be a happy ending.
Rewards
Despite the traumatic incident, EVE still receives a reward for completing Missing Wife in Stellar Blade. It is just 1,300 Gold, but that can go a long way toward resupplying ammo and healing items. As well, it opens up other requests in the Bulletin Board for you to accept.
